Your Full Potential, LLC offers a cutting-edge approach to strategic planning.  We have conducted planning sessions for several credit unions.  The planning process is critical and must be conducted effectively for credit unions to achieve their greatest potential.  Our expertise and understanding of the credit union industry allows for a thorough and seamless process.

The Strategic Planning Process

 Pre-Session

 Situation Identification:  Written survey completed by Management and Directors. Surveys will be sent separately to credit union management staff and directors.  Your Full Potential will review and compare the results.  (This will be done 4 weeks prior to the planning session.)

 During the Session

 Survey Results Review:  We will review and discuss the results of the confidential surveys (see above.)

Financial Review:  Financial performance report/ratio analysis/peer comparisons.

Staff Review: What services can we introduce to make our employees grateful and happy to work for us?

Future Prospects: Where does credit union want to be in 6 mos., 1 yr., beyond?  In December 2013, what do we want to list as our major accomplishments for the year?

Member Engagement :  What do our credit union members want? How can we engage our members better?  How can the credit union stay relevant and add VALUE to their members’ lives?

Niche Marketing: Identify our niche market(s).  How can we capitalize on our opportunities therein?

Emerging Trends: What is happening throughout the credit union industry?  CUNA E-Scan Review – how does this affect our credit union?

Technology Review:  How can we improve our technology and how do we get the members to use it?

Management Review:  What are you happy with? What needs to change?

Goal-Setting:  We will set strategic goals.

Tactics:  Identify specific actions credit union can take to reach the goals that are set.

After the Session

Written Strategic Plan: (to be delivered about 3 weeks after session)  Sean will present the Plan to the Board and solicit feedback to ensure that the Plan is appropriate based on our discussions at the Planning Session.

Planning Review: Sean will conduct a strategic review/progress analysis at a time to be determined by the Board of Directors.
